Adventure

The natural resources of Bulgaria are stunning.  From the Seaside to the mountains there are many opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of this land.  The alpine resorts of Bansko and Borovets offer a great opportunity for Snow Skiing, Snow Boarding, and Cross-Country Skiing.  During the summer months these resorts offer a base for Mountain Biking, Hiking, Camping, Horseback riding and Whitewater rafting.  Miles of 4x4 roads access much of the back country, and much more is accessible only by foot or horseback.

There is a series of alpine huts located in the various mountain ranges.  These huts are maintained by locals, and offer food, drink, and warm dry lodging for reasonable prices.  It is popular to hike or ride horses from hut to hut over a period of a few days to transit across the mountain ranges.  Along the way you will see many wild animals, and natural features such as waterfalls, alpine lakes, and pristine valleys with clear mountain streams.

Our Adventure experience can be planned for one day of your trip, or may consume the entire time you are here.  We will combine your favorite activities based on the time of year you come, and organize all the necessary equipment and experienced local guides for your adventure.  Each evening will include time to socialize, and discuss the highlights of the day with new friends.
